As I was location scouting around Augusta before this session, I was feeling a tid-bit discouraged with the lack of fall color that was so beautiful back in my north Idaho home -but then I fell across this place; Phinzy Swamp.

And what a stunner! I’m always a firm believer there’s a pretty backdrop wherever you go and this place reaffirmed it!

The session started with a little fun celebration because it happened to be Erik’s birthday. We had a small birthday cake and some laughter, setting the mood for a fun and laid-back evening. It was such a sweet and personal touch, capturing that special moment for them.

The soft oaks were the perfect backdrop for capturing their love. The way the light filtered through the trees and danced on their faces was absolutely magical.
